Classification of boards for wooden display racks?

Wooden Display Stand Board knowledge:

一、 Several boards commonly used in wardrobes are as follows:

1、 Introduction to fir integrated boards: fir boards are also called finger-jointed boards. They are spliced together in small sections, and glue is used in all joints; Second, the wood of this kind of board is soft and not strong enough, so it is easy to deform and crack; third, its surface is uneven and it is easy to scratch clothes. The solution to the scratch is to polish and paint, which will cause a lot of costs. , secondly, it smells and is not environmentally friendly, and thirdly, the paint is easy to discolor, crack, and fall off. Fourth, it is easy to get insects and difficult to take care of. Advantages: affordable, more environmentally friendly when painted without polishing, and has the fragrance of fir itself. Disadvantages: The surface is rough and easy to scratch clothes; because it is easy to deform and crack, it can only be fixed to the wall during processing and cannot move; there are many pile joints and small holes on the surface of the board, which is not beautiful; it must undergo multiple processes (hole filling, sand, wax or paint) and wait until the smell has dissipated before putting it into use.

2. Pure solid wood, imitation solid wood, solid wood veneer board introduction: The base material used in solid wood furniture is natural wood, and the real patterns of the wood can generally be seen on the surface. Pure solid wood furniture means that all the materials used in the furniture are solid wood, including tabletops, wardrobe door panels, side panels, etc., which are all made of pure solid wood and do not use any other form of artificial panels. Pure solid wood furniture has very high requirements for craftsmanship and materials. The requirements for material selection, drying, finger jointing, and seaming of solid wood are very strict. If any process is not strictly controlled, cracks, loose joints, etc. may occur in the smallest case. The entire set of furniture was deformed and rendered unusable. Imitation solid wood furniture looks like solid wood furniture from the outside. The natural texture, feel and color of the wood are exactly the same as solid wood furniture. But in fact, it is a mixture of solid wood and artificial panels, that is, side panels, tops, bottoms, shelves and other components. Thin wood veneer in particleboard or MDF fibreboard, doors and drawers in solid wood. This process saves wood and reduces costs. So the price is more acceptable. Furniture manufacturers sometimes apply varnish or matte paint to solid wood furniture to express the natural color of the wood. Solid wood veneer generally refers to solid wood veneer, with solid wood veneer on the surface and density board on the inside. The performance is more stable than pure solid wood and less prone to cracking, but it is not as environmentally friendly as pure solid wood. Advantages: The grand, noble and original temperament caters to people’s psychology of returning to nature. Disadvantages: higher price and difficult to take care of; due to the painting process, it is easy to change color, which is why the color of solid wood furniture will become darker with use. The fatal flaw of solid wood furniture, the most important one is that changes in moisture content make it easy to deform, and it needs special care. For example, it cannot be exposed to sunlight, it cannot be too cold or extremely hot, and it is not suitable for solid wood furniture in an environment that is too dry or humid. of. If you do not pay attention during use and frequently turn the air conditioner on and off, causing excessive changes in temperature and humidity, even qualified solid wood furniture products may sometimes deform and crack.

3. Melamine board Board introduction: Melamine board, the full name is melamine impregnated film paper facing artificial board. It is made by soaking paper with different colors or textures in melamine resin adhesive, then drying it to a certain degree of solidification, paving it on the surface of particle board, medium density fiberboard or hard fiberboard, and hot pressing it. Decorative plates. At present, the base materials used in panel furniture on the market are all this type of boards. The base materials are divided into melamine particle board and melamine density board. The appearance design of melamine board has more changes and is more personalized. It is the material of choice for top European furniture manufacturers. However, the environmental protection requirements for the board are very strict and must meet the European E1 level standard. Advantages: Affordable; no deformation, cracking, or fading; rich colors; very convenient to assemble and disassemble, and panel furniture with high processing precision can be disassembled and installed multiple times; environmentally friendly and fashionable. Disadvantages: also in terms of environmental protection. Furniture produced from artificial boards with excessive formaldehyde content will cause indoor environmental pollution. Consumers should pay attention when purchasing. They can open the cabinet door or drawer and smell it. If there is a strong irritating smell, it is likely that the formaldehyde exceeds the standard and it is not suitable to buy.

Solid wood particle board (particle board): Particle board is made from broken logs and processed under high temperature and pressure. The middle layer is made of long wood fibers, and the two sides are finely organized wood fibers, which are pressed into boards. The molecular structure is compact and the bending strength is high. It has the advantages of not being easily deformed and having strong nail-holding power. As the main material of panel furniture, it is mainly used for heat insulation, sound absorption or ceiling, making furniture, etc. Currently, many manufacturers produce furniture using particleboard, which is also the main material for cabinets. The surface of particleboard is often laminated with melamine facing on both sides. After edge sealing, it has the same appearance as medium density board. It is assembled with special connectors and is removable. The disadvantage is that it is not easy to bend or process curved sections, and it requires high processing machinery. Density board: also called fiberboard, divided into high density board, medium density board and high density board. The main material used in custom home furnishings is MDF, which is the abbreviation of medium density fiberboard. It is made of powdered wood fiber that is pressed with glue at high temperatures and easily expands when exposed to water. It is made through fiber separation, shaping, drying, high pressure and other processes. It is characterized by a uniform internal structure, good machining performance, and is easy to carve and form parts of various shapes and surfaces. The surface flatness is good, so when the surface needs to be milled and formed, and the pasting surface is soft (such as carved blister board), medium density board is often used to ensure a smooth surface after lamination. The difference between particleboard and density board: MDF is made from raw wood ground into fibers, which completely changes the structure of the wood. Particleboard is logs cut into small pieces. After being hot-pressed into particleboard, it still has some properties of wood. Particleboard and MDF have their own strengths and weaknesses. Since the raw materials are all very fine wood powder, from the perspective of moisture-proof performance, if a piece of medium density board is soaked in water, it will expand like bread; while soaking the particleboard in water, because there are long wood fibers in the particleboard, more retention The structure of the wood has been improved, so it will no longer expand when it expands to a certain extent. Therefore, in terms of overall performance, it can be said that particle board is better than density board. In addition, density boards use a large amount of glue during the production process. If the quality of these glues is not up to standard, the boards produced will definitely not be environmentally friendly. Regular particle board is not the kind of recycled board (board made from waste materials such as furniture, etc.). The material used in particle board is logs, and the price difference between the two is about double. When making furniture, particleboard and MDF each have their own merits. For furniture that requires routing, milling, bending and other processing techniques, particle board is not suitable. However, it is best to use E1 grade particleboard for making straight furniture, such as wardrobes, bookcases, cupboards, TV cabinets and other cabinet products.

Unique advantages of particleboard:

  •   1. Easy to process. Generally, the shavings can be used after being pasted with melamine, veneer, etc.
  •   2. More environmentally friendly. Currently, there are not many MDF boards on the market that truly reach E1 level or above. And good particleboard is basically E1. From a production perspective, particle board E1 is easier to produce.
  •   3. In terms of deformation degree, particle board is better than MDF.
  •   4. The screw-holding force of particle board is better than that of MDF.
  •   5. Low price. In terms of moisture-proof performance, many people think that moisture-proof and waterproof can be equated. In fact, this concept is incorrect. In short, density board is not suitable for kitchen and bathroom furniture. When using particleboard, be sure to pay attention to the edges. Moreover, particle board uses less glue and is more environmentally friendly.

4. Woodworking board Woodworking board is the blockboard on the market. It is a board made of natural rotary cut veneers and solid wood panels, glued and hot pressed. According to the quality of the material and the texture of the surface material, it can be divided into “excellent products”, “first-class products” and “qualified products”. The inner core materials also include poplar, birch, pine, paulownia, etc. The surface materials can be applied separately on both sides of the board core.

Combined with one or two layers of veneer, it can be classified into three-layer blockboard and five-layer blockboard. During the production process of blockboards, there will be problems such as excessive formaldehyde release, unqualified transverse static bending strength, unqualified product moisture content, and low bonding strength. Adding a layer of wood-grained three-centimeter board to the block board and then painting it is a common practice in carpentry furniture nowadays. Advantages: Affordable; easy to process. It is a commonly used board for hand-made furniture by carpenters and is more suitable for furniture interior decoration panels. Disadvantages: Many blockboards release excessive amounts of methane; they are easy to deform; some boards are hollow, which will affect the screw bite force, so when choosing blockboards, its quality is the key. Classification of wardrobes Overall wardrobe: built-in wardrobe Overall cloakroom: open cloakroom, independent cloakroom, built-in cloakroom

  1. 1. Open cloakroom: This kind of cloakroom is suitable for young people who want to solve all functions in a large space. But even if it is open, there must be a certain degree of privacy to avoid making the large space look too cluttered. A better form is to use an entire empty wall and put up many slats for separation, which is not completely closed. This is an open cloakroom. The advantages of an open cloakroom are good air circulation and spaciousness, but the disadvantage is poor dust protection. In this case, a dust cover can be used to hang on the clothes, or a box can be used to hold the clothes. And use some signs to distinguish them. It would be more practical if there are more drawers and small cabinets.
  2. 2. Independent cloakroom: The independent cloakroom has higher requirements on the room area, because if the room itself has many partitions, adopting this form will make the space more crowded. Only an independent cloakroom can be set up in a spacious and large space to store all the debris. Among them, it can make it both beautiful and practical, making the interior more tidy and easy to care for. The characteristics of an independent cloakroom are good dust protection and complete storage space. The wardrobe is designed with a double row and “U” shape to maximize space utilization. This kind of cloakroom should leave enough space for activities, and it is best to have a mirror to facilitate Operation, fitting. The lighting in the room should be sufficient, and additional lighting should be provided if necessary to prepare for rummaging.
  3. 3. Built-in cloakroom: This kind of cloakroom saves area, has high space utilization, is easy to keep clean, and is suitable for families with limited area. Generally speaking, as long as you can find a space with an area of more than
  4. 4 square meters, you can consider making a cloakroom. Utilize the partition wall of the existing space and pass a sliding door to increase the moisture-proof function of the cloakroom. When choosing this form, attention should be paid to ventilation and dehumidification. In this type of cloakroom, in order to make full use of the limited space, a unified specification grid unit can be used, that is, fixed vertical partitions are used to divide the large pattern, and adjustable partitions are used to build units. These units are extensive and can be arranged at will. It has good flexibility and can be equipped with clothes rails, drawers, and boxes as needed to store shirts, underwear, etc. in detail. In addition to some basic cabinets, the furniture in the cloakroom can also introduce some new metal clothes racks, tie racks, bottom-hanging hanging rods, trouser racks, metal baskets, retractable sliding mirrors, built-in tilting shoe racks, etc. Small accessories, choosing a suitable place to arrange these small metal accessories will provide the owner with a lot of convenience when storing clothes.
